After comprehensive renovation, the property now operates as a four-star wellness hotel that preserves its thermal heritage while offering modern destination wedding facilities.
Set on the island's northern coast, the venue combines direct access to thermal pools with banquet spaces overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The hotel has some beautiful outdoor areas, but rooms are incredibly dated and basic. The shower was tiny but powerful. The breakfast was not worth getting up for- the food was basic and not done well. For example when they ran out of chocolate croissants they topped up with cream- but left the chocolate sign. However our biggest bug was reception asking us to not take the key out of the grounds. Instead it was displayed in reception. Upon return the key was handed over to us with no further security. On several occasions we were handed a key to a different room. This made me feel unsafe- as there’s a very easy way to see which rooms are occupied and there were no checks to see which room key you were given. During this hotel stay, my credit card was stolen. We rang the hotel but they had not found it. It’s now 2 weeks later, it hasn’t turned up so it disappeared while staying in this property.
