Up to 80 at dinner and 100 at the ceremony. With the hotel’s own furniture, La Colonna and the Belvedere terrace seat 60, and the pool garden and the Belvedere garden 70. Hired furniture, or a marquee in the Belvedere garden, takes each of the outdoor spaces to 80, and the Orto delle Monache seats 100 for a ceremony with hired chairs. The 36 rooms sleep 72, and guests beyond that can stay at The Club House, a six-minute drive away.

€40,000 a night for all 36 rooms, VAT included, with a minimum of two nights, so €80,000 before any food or drink. City tax of €5 a person a night is extra, and a non-refundable deposit confirms the date. The couple pays the hotel for the rooms. If guests are to pay towards their own rooms, the hotel leaves that to you, and Aisle can collect those payments.

The hotel holds symbolic ceremonies. For a legally binding wedding, marry first at a town hall (Castelnuovo Berardenga’s is about 25 minutes by car), or arrange a Catholic wedding at one of the Chianti churches directly with the priest, then hold your ceremony in the Orto delle Monache.

Menus are priced per person, VAT included, and do not change with guest numbers: a welcome aperitivo from €42, a pool party from €46, a pizza party from €52, a barbecue or Italian market dinner from €88, a welcome dinner from €90 and the wedding gala dinner from €150. A wine package of one bottle for every three guests, with water and coffee, and a three-hour open bar each start at €42. At least one meal service has to be booked with the hotel, and it staffs one waiter for every ten guests.

Yes. The hotel requires a planner to work with its event coordinator. A marquee, and any tables, chairs, linen or tableware beyond what the hotel provides, are hired by you and your planner from outside suppliers.

Yes. Cots and extra beds are available on request, and with notice the kitchen makes children’s menus. The Club House, the estate’s other hotel, normally takes guests aged fourteen and over.

The hotel is open from mid-April to the end of October; it reopened on 15 April in 2026. Outside the season the estate opens for private celebrations on request. Exclusive use runs from 3 p.m. check-in to noon on the day you leave.
