This hotel made it surprisingly difficult to enjoy a vacation. There are too many rules-from pool restrictions to dining limitations-that made the whole experience feel rigid and overly controlled. The pillows were paper-thin-bring your own unless you enjoy sleeping on folded napkins. Parking was chaotic and not guaranteed, which added unnecessary stress every time we returned from an outing. We booked half board, but dinner was a fixed set menu with no choices. You get what they serve, and if it's not to your taste, there's no alternative. Definitely not worth the cost of half or all-inclusive. Despite advertising as pet-friendly, the hotel clearly isn't. You pay a daily pet fee, but pets are restricted from most areas-so it's more like "pet-tolerant." Noise between the rooms is also a problem. The best part of our stay was hands down the restaurant staff-they were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make meals enjoyable. The air conditioning was also excellent: quiet, efficient, and a true relief during the heat. The hotel could invest in some new towels and overall maintenance of the property and it would be slightly more deceiving…
