Hotel Bisanzio in Venezia, open JuneSeptember.

Hotel Bisanzio sits on the Calle de la Pietà in Venice's San Marco district, offering direct views across the city's iconic waterways and historic architecture.

The 4-star property occupies a restored Venetian palazzo with original stone facades and arched windows overlooking the canal system.

Guests experience the layered geography of Venice—water-level arrivals, intimate courtyard spaces, and rooftop terraces that frame the basilicas and bell towers defining the skyline.

We fully enjoyed this "hidden" gem of a hotel. It is so close to major sites but tucked away enough to be quiet and over-run with people in the narrow calle. Our room, a junior suite, was spacious, bright, very clean and quiet. The venetian glass chandelier and sconces were a beautiful touch. The check in was smooth, the welcome warm. The gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and full of ideas of things to see and do that visitors might not know about. The breakfast was wonderful in the garden each morning. We highly recommend this hotel.
