Hotel Ai Cavalieri in Venezia, open June–September.
Your guests arrive by water taxi to a centuries-old palazzo on the Grand Canal, stepping directly into Venetian history.
Hotel Ai Cavalieri seats up to 150 guests across intimate salons with frescoed ceilings and marble floors, where the ceremony concludes with champagne on a private terrace overlooking canal traffic and centuries-old architecture.
Reception dinners unfold in candlelit rooms where 16th-century proportions create natural romance without theatrical styling.
Once a palace, now a four-star hotel. The service is at an impressive level, everyone is truly kind and helpful, answering every question and assisting with recommendations for anything you may need, from the reception staff to the breakfast team and the people who clean and maintain the rooms. Everything is very tidy and clean, the rooms are well equipped, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. You can reach the hotel either on foot or by boat, and check-out is until 11 a.m. The entire place is luxuriously decorated, and staying in this hotel is truly an experience in itself. They even provide umbrellas and shoe covers, which is very thoughtful, as this is Venice after all. A small personal note, it would be nice and useful if the rooms also included cotton buds and makeup removal pads. I have somehow become used to that even in hotels with fewer stars. Overall, I am very satisfied with my time and stay at this hotel and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. Highest praise to all the staff! ☺️🏰
