We arrived in Mont Saint-Michel on the bus from Pontorson before noon. The hotel graciously accommodated our early arrival which allowed us to drop off our overnight bags before walking to Le Mont. The location is perfect for an early morning walk to the dam where we watched The Abbey emerge through the morning fog. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices - breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, sausage, crepes, etc. Our room was simply appointed but clean and comfortable. We didn't make the overnight trip from Paris to sit in our room, so we were very satisfied with the accommodations.
