Grand Hyatt at SFO in CA 94128, open June–September.
Built in 1976 as a modernist hotel tower, the Grand Hyatt at SFO has served Bay Area travelers and event guests for nearly five decades.
Located directly adjacent to San Francisco International Airport, this 802-room property underwent substantial renovations to position itself as a full-service destination for corporate and social events.
The hotel's glass-and-steel architecture reflects the industrial design ethos of 1970s Silicon Valley while offering contemporary event spaces and luxury accommodations.
Great experience at the Grand Hyatt at SFO returning from our trip to Vietnam. We arrived late at night - 11PM - after a 12+ hour flight from Hong Kong. Access via the Airtram was easy and quick with all of our bags. The desk staff was very helpful and upgraded our points stay room which was really nice. The room was spacious, cool, and had a view of the runway - and it was soundproof. The bed was super comfortable and I particularly liked the heavy weight (but not overly warm) duvet - it was perfect for sleeping in a cool room as we like. The shower was large and had a great stream of hot water. The online checkout process was very smooth and supported our (sadly) rather early checkout for our next leg home. First time staying in an airport Grand Hyatt, but will definitely be staying again. Thanks for a great, albeit short, stay!
