I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel so far. I brought my parents on holiday, only to be kept waiting endlessly for our rooms. It is now almost 5pm and no rooms have been allocated to us. I had even called two days in advance to confirm an early check-in, yet there has been no preparation, no courtesy, and not even an apology from the staff. On arrival, we were unexpectedly asked for a £500 deposit — something that was never mentioned at the time of booking. To make matters worse, the outdoor swimming pool is closed today for a private event. We were not informed of this in advance, and as the weather forecast predicts rain for the coming days, this was the only opportunity we had to enjoy it. I’m fuming Even more frustrating is the fact that the indoor pool is not included for guests but is instead charged per hour, never told . which is unreasonable and completely outdated. The reception area itself feels tired, unwelcoming, and is matched by staff who are unfriendly and unaccommodating. This has been a thoroughly disappointing start to what was meant to be a special holiday for my family. I truly hope things improve from here, but at this stage I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
