The view is unbelievably spectacular. I have a feeling this hotel was grand and wonderful years ago. Now, even though the view is as spectacular as it is and the service is decent, it needs a full refresh and to be kept cleaner. My room had ants. Not one or 2. Ants with lots of friends. Also it was difficult to contain the shower in the shower. The floor and bath towel were soaked. As we're the items I placed on the edge of the sink. The hotel needs to be painted and the runners on the stairs need to be cleaned or replaced. Normally I don't notice or even care about these things but because the hotel has the feeling of a grand palazzo and could be so very beautiful these things stand out.
