Housed within a beautifully restored historic building, the property captures the charm, character, and romance of Rome while still providing the comfort and service expected from a luxury hotel. The location in Trastevere was absolutely perfect. We loved being able to walk through one of Rome's most authentic and vibrant neighborhoods while remaining close to the city's most iconic landmarks. The surrounding streets, cafés, restaurants, and atmosphere allowed us to experience Rome beyond the typical tourist experience. The hotel itself is stunning. The architecture, courtyards, gardens, and historic details create a peaceful retreat from the energy of the city. After long days exploring Rome, returning to the hotel felt like coming home to a quiet sanctuary. Our room was comfortable, well maintained, and full of character. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always willing to assist with recommendations and arrangements. Every interaction reflected genuine hospitality. One of the highlights of our stay was simply enjoying the property itself. Whether relaxing in the courtyard, walking through the grounds, or taking in the views from the terrace, the hotel offered countless opportunities to slow down and appreciate the beauty of Rome. Rome is an extraordinary city, and Hotel Donna Camilla Savelli provided the perfect home base from which to experience it. We left with wonderful memories and would gladly stay here again on a future visit. For travelers seeking history, charm, authenticity, and a truly Roman experience, this hotel is an exceptional choice.
