We stayed here last week and, unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. The gîte was not clean on arrival — dirty dishes and a filthy dishwasher meant we had no clean plates the first evening. Although action was taken the next day, this was not a great start. One of the main reasons we booked was the advertised evening meal service, which would have been ideal as we were travelling with a baby. However, at check-in we were told this was “only for emergencies” and not recommended, which was very disappointing and left us having to cook every night instead of enjoying a relaxing holiday. Breakfast (€28 p.p.) was also far below expectations — one slice of ham, one yoghurt, a single baguette to share, and no fresh juice. We appreciated that the cost was refunded, but the quality didn’t match the price or website description. Housekeeping skipped two days and came very late once, meaning no clean towels or kitchen service. The heating in the living room also didn’t work, leaving it cold and uncomfortable with 11°C outside. While the staff were friendly and did offer an alternative room, the lack of proper meal options, inconsistent cleaning, and heating issues made us decide to check out early. Unfortunately, the overall service and facilities didn’t live up to what was advertised. We have emailed the property with complaints but without any answer..
