San Lorenzo di Sebato, Val Pusteria, South Tyrol
A sixteenth-century hunting lodge of the Bishop of Bressanone, restored by former fashion-industry couple Giorgia and Stefano Barbini into what Forbes covered as the benchmark of Italian-style alpine luxury, and winner of Italy’s Best Ski Chalet at the World Ski Awards eight years running. Three hundred square metres of lodge on a thirteen-hectare private estate above Brunico: original tiled stove, a goat shed reborn as a 1,500-bottle wine cellar, spa cabin, a 39-degree panoramic whirlpool, a private golf green, and a helipad three minutes from the Kronplatz slopes. It rents only whole, hosts, private chef and staff included, sleeping ten in four bedrooms. As a wedding venue it is the collection’s most exclusive hideout: house-party scale, fashion-world polish, documented intimate weddings on its terrace.
