A sixteenth-century villa built in 1543 and held by the Lazzerini family ever since — nearly five hundred years of single-family stewardship, which you feel in every worn stone of the courtyard. The estate sits on a hilltop just over the Tuscan border near Lake Trasimeno and Cortona, thirty hectares of sunflower fields, olive groves and vineyards, with a pool, a farm-to-table kitchen, and a courtyard “piazza” where the long wedding dinners happen.
