The property retains original tile work, soaring ceilings, and period details across its 8,000 square meters of grounds.
Now operating as both a boutique hotel and event venue, it serves as a sophisticated backdrop for destination celebrations.
I loved everything about this place. It felt like both a tranquil escape and home. Dacia, the owner, is assisted by her mom -- both the most gracious hosts, yet very down-to-earth people. Easy to get caught up in a great conversation full of good laughs. They really make CasaJOMO -- the frosting in the cake. Beyond that, the hotel itself is beautiful! You'll have to climb some steps, but the walk through the hotel is truly pleasant. Very quiet, good for quality sleep. Even the street itself is with minimal car and foot traffic. Yet, you're only about a 5-or-so-minute walk from numerous super cute shops and restaurants in Santa Teresa. I loved the artsy vibe -- throughout Santa Teresa and also CasaJOMO. Oh, the pool is very pleasant as well. Very nice, relaxing setting. No worries about high crime, it's quite safe around CasaJOMO, and you'll feel very comfortable walking around town. It's a fun little journey :) Anyhow, I've said enough. If you're even just kinda thinking about a stay at CasaJOMO, do it. Note: I realize I only have videos of CasaJOMO, so instead you get 1.
