01 · In a sentence

Casa Modò in Riposto, open JuneOctober.

Casa Modò stands apart in Sicily's wedding landscape by offering a working estate that doubles as an event venue, where guests experience authentic Sicilian agricultural traditions alongside celebration.

Located in Riposto on the eastern coast, this property merges countryside authenticity with the logistics of a modern destination wedding, eliminating the typical disconnect between rustic aesthetics and reliable services.

The venue's position on the SS 114 Orientale Sicula provides direct access to Mount Etna's foothills and Mediterranean views without requiring remote mountain transfers.

Nice staff. Good service. The food was ok. They have beautiful old vaults and winery details mixed with cold lights, plastic chairs, naked steel/tree tables and a strange modern looking part...which makes it everything but cosy. Such potential... But the aperitivi were lovely.

07 · Questions

Asked along the way.

What makes Casa Modò different from typical Sicilian villa rentals?+

Casa Modò operates as a functioning agricultural property rather than a converted manor house, offering guests authentic engagement with Sicilian farming culture—olive groves, vineyards, or seasonal crops—as a backdrop to wedding events. This working-estate model provides both visual authenticity and operational infrastructure designed for events.

Can we accommodate guests overnight at the venue?+

Yes. The estate includes on-site accommodation options, which means wedding parties can keep guests within the property grounds, simplifying transportation and extending celebration time across multiple days.

What is the typical timeline for booking at Casa Modò?+

Contact the venue directly through https://www.casamodo.it/ for availability and booking timelines. Sicilian estate venues typically require 6–12 months' advance notice for peak summer and fall dates.

How far is Casa Modò from Catania airport?+

The venue is approximately 60km south of Catania Airport (CTA), roughly 75 minutes by car along the SS 114 Orientale Sicula coastal highway.

Does Casa Modò offer catering and beverage services?+

The estate manages on-site food and wine services, sourcing from its own production where applicable. Confirm specific menu options and beverage packages when booking.
