Ca' di Dio in Venezia, open June–September.
Ca' di Dio commands the Grand Canal's edge in Venice, where Byzantine and Gothic facades rise directly from the water's surface.
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame unobstructed views of passing gondolas and centuries-old palazzos, while marble terraces extend over the canal itself.
This 16th-century palazzo hotel offers ceremonies and receptions where architectural grandeur and waterfront position create an inherently dramatic backdrop.
This was hands down our favorite hotel of the entire trip. From the moment we checked in, everything just felt easy and comfortable — which meant so much since I’m currently pregnant and moving a little slower these days. The hotel itself was super clean and really well kept, which immediately made us feel at ease. Our room and bathroom were both incredibly spacious (especially for Venice), and having that extra space made such a difference in how relaxed we felt. It was such a comfortable place to come back to after long days of exploring. The breakfast each morning was fantastic with a great variety of options, and everything tasted so fresh. It quickly became one of our favorite parts of the day. The location truly could not have been better — walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Being able to explore Venice mostly on foot was especially nice while pregnant and a little uncomfortable at times. The concierge team also deserves a special mention. They were incredibly helpful and assisted us with restaurant reservations — and one of the places they recommended ended up being our favorite and most memorable meal of the entire trip. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend!
