Borgo Egnazia in di Savelletri, open June–September.
Borgo Egnazia is a luxury resort built in 2010 on the grounds of a restored 16th-century Puglian farmstead in Savelletri, Brindisi.
The property reconstructs a traditional southern Italian village with whitewashed buildings, cobblestone streets, and regional architectural details sourced from authentic antique materials.
This 5-star destination combines 192 rooms, multiple dining venues, and extensive event spaces across 17 hectares of Mediterranean landscape.
I was there in April of 2022 and was blown away by how beautiful the whole of the premises was. We were treated like royalty. The Borgo Spledida room was wonderful! Light and cosy with a patio on the ground floor and access to a roof top terrace. The whole resort was reserved by the same company that we were with and we had a wonderful time with a banquet, great breakfasts and great bar at night. Transfer to the beach restaurant was provided by golf cart and driver. I would definitely recommend this for larger events, a relaxing vacation, golfing and for both couples and families. It sure is pricey but what you get for the money is worth it. It takes a while to get to the nearby towns and cities if you care for exploring but transfer is available by request. Therefore a lower rating of the location for me who likes to explore. A very beautiful location still.
