The room was good, equipped with a heater, and very clean, plus it was conveniently close to a beautiful park filled with flowers and animals—I loved the hotel. The room at the hotel was good, but be careful: breakfast ends strictly at 9:30. I paid 15 euros for breakfast, but when I arrived just five minutes late after a morning business call, they refused to serve me and didn't offer any alternatives. I had to beg for a croissant and coffee, which spoiled my stay as I left feeling upset and hungry before my train.

Today is Day 21 of our holiday in France. We have experienced many hotels and many hotel breakfasts on our journey this time, all good and with some excellent breakfasts, but I did want to single out this place. The room is lovely, large enough with a well-appointed , en suite bathroom with a stunning shower. What really made me want to write was the breakfast. The owners have presented a magnificent spread of top-notch local produce, including some of the finest cheese and various types of beautiful bread that I have ever eaten. Today, there were also various dessert-like treats, all made by the owners, that were just delightful. I really cannot recommend this place highly enough, and if we find ourselves in Granville again in the future, we will stay here and hope that the same owners are here and thriving.
