Au Bout du Quai in Granville.
Au Bout du Quai occupies a 19th-century harbor building in Granville that once served as a customs house before its thoughtful restoration into a contemporary hotel.
Positioned directly on the waterfront at Place Pierre Semard, the venue preserves original architectural elements while offering modern event spaces with unobstructed views of the English Channel.
The property's dual identity—functioning as both boutique hotel and wedding destination—allows guests to extend celebrations across multiple days without leaving the premises.
The room was good, equipped with a heater, and very clean, plus it was conveniently close to a beautiful park filled with flowers and animals—I loved the hotel. The room at the hotel was good, but be careful: breakfast ends strictly at 9:30. I paid 15 euros for breakfast, but when I arrived just five minutes late after a morning business call, they refused to serve me and didn't offer any alternatives. I had to beg for a croissant and coffee, which spoiled my stay as I left feeling upset and hungry before my train.
