We spent two wonderful weeks at the Atlantica Aegean Blue for a family vacation and overall had a fantastic experience. The hotel offers everything you need for a relaxing and fun family stay — the pool area is beautiful (even though the water was a bit cold this time of year), and the slides were a highlight for both kids and adults alike. The staff truly make the difference here — everyone is so friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. The bars and à la carte restaurants are outstanding, and the food across the entire resort was excellent. We loved the “Smack Bar” concept, the free ice cream shop, and the great variety at every meal. The gym was well-equipped and perfect for a quick workout. There are a few small things that could be improved: our room could have been cleaner (we still found dust and even some socks from previous guests under the bed), and mirrors weren’t cleaned during our entire stay. The bathroom, however, was spotless every day. Occasionally, there was a short wait at the main restaurant during peak times. The pool area gets quite busy, and with fixed umbrellas and movable sunbeds, it can feel a bit tight to navigate. Our kids didn’t fully enjoy the evening kids’ animation, as it felt more like a show for kids rather than with them, and the music choice was more for adults than children. Still, these are small details on a very high level — overall, it’s a great hotel with amazing food, excellent staff, and a lovely family atmosphere. We’d definitely recommend it and would happily come back again!
