We recently had an absolutely incredible stay at Alila Fort Bishangarh. We stayed at the villa with a hot tub and a private pool, and the experience exceeded our expectations on every level. The Accommodation: The villa was incredibly spacious and came with an extra room and attached washroom, which was perfect for accommodating my daughter’s nanny. The room was equipped with every modern amenity you could possibly need, but the absolute highlight was the spectacular view of the fort. While stunning during the day, the view became truly magical in the evening hours when the fort was lit up. Service & Hospitality: Because the property is quite expansive, we used the hotel's buggies/golf carts to traverse between our villa and the main complex/common areas. The service here was seamless. A special shoutout to Mr. Jairam, who was incredibly prompt and always arrived with a smile whenever we requested a buggy. Traveling with a baby means paying attention to the little details, and the staff was phenomenal in this regard. Ms. Trilottama was a lifesaver as she was extremely helpful and attentive in assisting us with the bottle sterilization process for my daughter, which made our stay so much more relaxing. Dining: The culinary experience was another high point. The overall quality and taste of the food were fantastic throughout our stay. The F&B staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, and we want to express our sincere thanks to Mr. Santosh and Mr. Gopal for their brilliant service and helpfulness. Verdict: Beautiful property, outstanding food, and a team of staff who genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommended; we will definitely be returning!

A truly impressive stay, better than most other 5 star stays we’ve had to date and worth a journey out to see! The fort has been super well maintained and updated while still keeping the historic look and feel. Our room was stunning- very spacious, a great view, clean and highly comfortable. Although we were only there for one night, my husband and I enjoyed wandering around the gardens/grounds as well as the many activities staff were ready to arrange for free. We did kite flying, cricket, badminton and if the weather had been warmer- probably would have enjoyed a dip in the beautiful pool! We really loved high tea and the food options, upstairs the traditional dining experience was amazing though we definitely over-ate. It was a little chilly and they brought over a mini fire pit and lit patio heaters for us so we could enjoy our meal and the live performance. In fact the only negative thing I can say about the entire trip was actually about the other guests. There were two isolated very small instances with over entitled guests (one had a lunchtime meltdown about food/service screaming at the staff) that were absolutely not the responsibility of the staff and were easy enough to ignore, especially given how quiet it was while we were there. Service was remarkable across the board, staff is very good at anticipating needs and happy to assist. Big shoutout to our check-in concierge Abhay who shared extra info via WhatsApp (even on his day off!), arranged a cake to celebrate our honeymoon, and offered to set up a complementary bubble bath. Overall, Alila Fort is a must if you’re slightly in the area and worth a detour if not!

We are still in the middle of our stay and haven’t even checked out yet, but the hospitality here has been so exceptional that I felt compelled to write this review right away. From check-in to activities to dinner, every interaction has been warm, thoughtful, and genuinely heartfelt. The check-in team surprised us with a room upgrade to make my birthday special, which immediately made us feel valued and welcomed. A heartfelt shout-out to Sonali and Prabhjyot, who truly made my birthday memorable. Sonali, especially, went completely out of her way for us. When we asked for just a few bar bites, she insisted on serving us almost a full meal, purely out of kindness and care. These are not rehearsed gestures. This is real hospitality. The property is immaculately maintained and beautifully restored. You don’t just stay here, you actually feel the heritage of Rajasthan all around you. The high tea is simply unmatched, not just in India but anywhere in the world. We have stayed at some of the finest properties by Oberoi, Taj, and Marriott, but this experience tops them all. What truly sets Alila Fort Bishangarh apart is the staff. Every single person makes you feel at home and genuinely special. We will definitely be coming back, not just as a couple but also with our family, so they can experience what true Indian hospitality really feels like.
