I recently stayed at the Ace Hotel in Athens and was thoroughly impressed. The rooms are a great size, thoughtfully designed, and full of fun features that make the stay feel unique, complete with extremely comfortable chairs on the balcony, perfect for relaxing after a day out. This hotel would appeal to singles, couples or groups of friends, with its roof terrace and lively vibe, there is something for everyone. Breakfast was excellent, easily one of the best I’ve had. The coffee was delicious and the croissants were especially good: fresh, flaky, and genuinely delicious. The food at Sora was also a real standout. It was one of the best Pan-Asian dining experiences I’ve had, and the spicy edamame beans were top-notch. I’d highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Athens, particularly if you don’t need to be in the downtown area. The Athenian Riviera is becoming one of the city’s most appealing spots, and the easy promenade walk from the hotel to the shopping district in Glyfada makes it an excellent alternative base. You’re only about 25 minutes from the Acropolis and just a 7-minute drive from Lake Vouliagmeni, which is well worth a visit too. All in all, a fantastic stay. I will be returning with my girl friends.
