We really enjoyed our stay. Room was stunning. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were even provided with a drink on arrival and a surprise bottle of bubbly and cake later that day. The breakfast is good, too. The hotel is in a less touristy area of Lisbon but is so close to everything at the same time.

Asked along the way.
What makes the Intendente neighborhood special for wedding guests?+
Intendente is Lisbon's most dynamic cultural district. Your guests have evening access to live music venues, contemporary galleries, traditional tascas (wine bars), and late-night dining without leaving the neighborhood. It's walkable, photogenic, and energetic without feeling touristy.
Can we host both ceremony and reception at the hotel?+
Yes. The palace includes multiple salons and the rooftop terrace. Most couples hold ceremonies in the formal ground-floor rooms and receptions either upstairs or on the terrace overlooking Lisbon.
Does the hotel offer wedding packages or catering?+
The hotel works with vetted local caterers and planners. Contact them directly at http://www.1908lisboahotel.com/ for current package pricing, menu options, and coordination details.
What's the best time of year to marry here?+
April-May and September-October offer ideal weather (60-75°F) and rooftop access. July-August draws peak tourist crowds. Winter (December-February) brings rain but fewer guests and lower accommodation costs.
How far is the hotel from Lisbon airport?+
Approximately 7 miles (11 km), roughly 20-30 minutes by taxi or rideshare depending on traffic. Direct metro service is also available.
