What marrying in Thailand actually requires
Foreign couples can marry legally in Thailand, and the paperwork is the part a planner earns their fee on. You need an affidavit of freedom to marry from your own embassy or consulate, translated into Thai and certified, alongside passports, birth certificates and divorce decrees where they apply. Allow two to three weeks and $500 to $1,500 for translations and fees. The season you are booking around
