Villa Regina Teodolinda in Laglio.

Villa Regina Teodolinda stands apart on Lake Como's western shore with direct waterfront access and a restored 19th-century palazzo that serves as both ceremony backdrop and guest accommodation.

Unlike hillside venues in the region, this estate offers water-level intimacy with mountain views and private boat dock access.

The property's 58-room capacity allows couples to host ceremonies, receptions, and multi-day celebrations entirely on-site without splitting guest experiences across locations.

The setting of Villa Regina Teodolinda is beautiful, but unfortunately the overall experience does not match the location. The villa itself is in need of updating, and both the food and services fell below expectations for a venue in this price category. The management company also applies extremely high charges for basic services that are not delivered at a professional standard. For example, a sound system valued at only a few thousand euros was rented out for more than €13,000 per night, and even then it was unreliable. For any event, this can be a serious issue. Additionally, there is an ongoing dispute regarding the return of the security deposit, which has added unnecessary stress to the newlyweds’ honeymoon. As professionals in the event industry, we recommend future clients carefully review what is being promised versus what is actually provided. The location is charming, but the service, costs, and management practices leave much to be desired.
