01 · In a sentence

Villa Le Corti in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, open JuneSeptember.

Villa Le Corti stands apart as a working wine estate where guests participate in the landscape itself—a 14th-century property spanning 130 hectares in Chianti that transforms a celebration into an immersion in Tuscan viticulture.

Rather than viewing vineyards from a terrace, couples marry within active production grounds, with tastings and estate tours woven directly into the event.

The venue's centuries-old architecture and operational winery create authenticity that purpose-built wedding spaces cannot replicate.

Beautiful place and good food and wine. We took an afternoon trip there because it was near our hotel (Villa il Poggiale) and we really enjoyed it. Walked around the grounds and had a snack with a few glasses of wine. Lovely service and food and wine were delicious.

07 · Questions

Asked along the way.

Can we have the ceremony in the vineyard itself?+

Yes. Villa Le Corti offers ceremonies among the rows during harvest season or in manicured sections of the estate. The chapel and loggia are alternatives for weather contingency.

The estate includes guest quarters and apartments. Additional rooms are available in San Casciano (5 minutes) and surrounding Chianti towns. Contact the venue for specific lodging inventory and pricing.

What is included in the wine package?+

Estate wines appear in welcome aperitivos and pairings at dinner. Customized tastings and vineyard tours can be arranged. Ask about exclusive bottle selections for rehearsal dinners.

What is the nearest airport and travel time?+

Florence Peretola (FLR) is 25 kilometers away—approximately 30-40 minutes by car. Private transfers and rental vehicles are standard for guest arrival.

Can external catering be brought in?+

The venue has preferred catering partnerships and in-house kitchen facilities. Discuss menu options and any outside vendor requests directly with the venue coordinator during planning.
