I attended as a guest, so I can't speak for the host couple. We started with an antipasto buffet, there were a lot of very small plates and options, some were excellent other were very far from memorable or flavour. We moved inside where the views were stunning for the plated courses and here the food really shined. The two pastas were particularly excellent. Lastly the cake cutting on the roof was a fun moment and then back to the garden for a dessert buffet. Here, again, the food lost any distinction and the cakes etc were nice, light and sweet but not outstanding in any way. The venue had then planned for a late night cocktail party. The cocktail service was dreadful and the drinks far from well made. (In fact throughout the event drinks did not flow very freely). They slowed the bar at 2:30am and asked us to leave at 3, the host had been told that we could continue until we like however this unfortunately did not come to fruition and our celebration was cut short.
