A delightfully unique experience deep diving into the literary world of Il Gatopardo - this was the original villa which inspired Lampedusa to write one of the most important books of European literature which still resonates today. The rooms are like museums and the dinner at the villa's restaurant was one of best I had in Sicily. Well worth staying - something interesting and and an experience to remember plus it's closer to the airport than Palermo which also helped make my morning flight in a relaxed way!

No. Civil ceremonies are held at Villa Niscemi, 450 metres away. A Catholic church is also nearby. The villa itself is licensed only for receptions.
What happens if it rains?+
Covered indoor space accommodates up to 130 guests on the first floor. Additional wet-weather options are available from 2026. Note: the first-floor indoor space is not wheelchair accessible; garden areas are fully accessible.
Do we have to use your recommended caterers?+
No. There are no exclusive supplier agreements. The villa provides a list of recommended caterers, but you're free to hire your own. The internal kitchen can support events up to 60 people independently.
How much does accommodation cost for guests?+
The villa itself provides 10 double bedrooms. Pricing for guest rooms is available upon enquiry. A nearby B&B is within walking distance for additional accommodation.
What's the payment schedule?+
40% deposit upon booking confirmation, 50% one month before the event, and the final balance one week before.
