Villa Barbi is a Tuscan, I mean technically Umbria, dream come true! The villa is absolutely stunning, with 360 degree views of rolling vineyards surrounded by cypress trees and a beautiful pool that makes it hard to leave the property. We stayed here with friends and family during our wedding celebrations, and it could not have been a more perfect setting! The staff was incredible throughout our stay. Angelica was wonderful and helped coordinate everything, including a private wine tasting. Our tasting included a tour of the original wine caves that date back to the Etruscan era and are still used today for aging wine. It was fascinating and we learned so much about the history of the estate and the region. The home staff team was also fantastic. They did a wonderful job every day and prepared breakfast for us a couple of mornings, which was supreme. The service overall was impeccable. Another highlight was being able to order unlimited wine directly from Barbi, even their rosé, which is hard to get! The villa itself is also a quick 20-30 min ride to Orvieto, for when you want to go explore the ancient walled city and stunning cathedral. We cannot thank Enzo and the staff enough for helping make this the most unforgettable week of our lives! Villa Barbi will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we hope to return many times to relive every magical moment.
