An 18th-century Menorcan manor and its outbuildings on a 180-hectare estate in the farmland behind the island’s south coast, restored and reopened in 2022 as a 33-suite hotel.
Menorca is a UNESCO biosphere reserve and has kept its building rules tight, which is why the island has almost no large resorts and why an estate like this one is unusual: the walls, the lime render and the layout are original, and the land around it is still worked.
Weddings are held in the gardens and courtyards around the manor, with dinner outdoors under the citrus and olive trees.
The 33 suites take the whole party, and the estate is private enough that music is not a village problem.

How many guests can Son Vell host?+
The estate does not publish a wedding capacity. The 33 suites set the practical limit on who sleeps there, and the gardens and courtyards hold well beyond that for dinner, so plan on 100 to 150 and confirm the layout with the events team.
Do weddings take the whole hotel?+
That is how most are run. The Vestige Collection describes the 33 suites in the manor and gardens as available exclusively for a wedding party, which is the point of a 180-hectare estate with one road in and no neighbours.
Is there a beach?+
Not on the property. Cala Son Vell, a small cove, is a ten-minute walk through the estate, and Cala en Turqueta, one of Menorca’s best-known beaches, is 4.3 km away. Both are undeveloped, so bring your own shade and water.
Which airport, and how reliable are the flights?+
Menorca (MAH) is about 45 minutes east by road. It is a small airport with heavy summer service from the UK, Germany and mainland Spain, and much thinner service outside June to September, so an April or October wedding needs its flight routes checked before the date is set.
What is the food like?+
Executive chef Joan Bagur builds menus around Menorcan produce and works with couples on a menu for the day rather than off a fixed list. There are two restaurants on the estate, so a welcome dinner and the wedding dinner can be different rooms.
