We recently stayed at this charming, historic hotel and had a wonderfully authentic experience. The property, steeped in history, transports you to a medieval village with its fascinating collection of historical artifacts. The ambiance was truly enchanting and made our stay memorable. However, there was a minor drawback to our otherwise delightful visit. Breakfast was served by the owner, who explained that he did this to ensure hygiene standards. While we understand his intentions, this approach made us feel somewhat observed. A more flexible arrangement, such as allowing guests to serve themselves while still maintaining hygiene, could have been more comfortable. On a positive note, we appreciated how the owners made an effort to create a personal connection with guests during breakfast. They were always eager to engage in conversation, creating a warm and familial atmosphere. Despite this small issue, the overall experience was positive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this unique hotel.
