Hosting your wedding at The Retreat at Blue Lagoon Iceland means securing a venue where geothermal hot springs are part of your celebration landscape—a 38-degree-Celsius advantage most destinations can't claim.

This hotel sits directly on Iceland's most visited natural attraction, giving guests built-in activities before and after ceremonies.

You'll manage logistics from one location rather than coordinating travel between ceremony, reception, and accommodation.

This hotel is dreamy. The rooms are spectacular and the service is even better. The spa is beautiful and the private lagoon is also very convenient and nice. Aside from that, the food is not great. I had a reservation at the Michelin Star restaurant Moss. The service was fantastic and the presentation was very artistic but the taste of the food was not good. There was so much emphasis put on presentation that they lost sight of the fact that food is supposed to taste good. This was my second time in Iceland so I know that Iceland has wonderful and tasty food to offer. At over $500 price point I’m expecting to have enjoyed my meal. Id prefer to go to Reykjavik and literally go to any restaurant for better food. Lava was ok, food taste was better than Moss but service is lacking a bit there. All in all I enjoyed my stay but Moss isn’t worth the money and you should seek food elsewhere.
