I can't express how much I enjoyed my stay at the Red Lion Inn. Beautiful inn, beautiful area. Loved walking through Stockbridge and just sitting on the porch drinking coffee (you do need to ask the bartender for a cup of coffee, a coffee bar in the lobby would be nice). Don't let first impressions sway you, it's not pretentious at all and very relaxed. I felt very comfortable in business casual clothes. The clam chowder at the Widow Bingham's Tavern was outstanding and I enjoyed the Chicken Pot Pie as well. I wish I had stayed more than one night, but we were on a tight schedule. I'd love to return one day for a longer stay.
