The hotel is elegant and luxurious and from the moment my family (including our dog) and I arrived the staff were amazing. Welcoming, friendly, considerate and accommodating. The room was beautiful. The harbour view outstanding. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great selection. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict and pancakes. The Observatory Bar cocktails are a must and a great opportunity to meet other guests staying at the hotel. My personal highlight was the velvet package at the day spa. 3 hours of pure bliss. The massage was easily the best I’ve ever experienced and the facial has left my skin glowing. Thank you again. Even our Bichon Frise dog had the best time. Simply the most amazing staff.

An exquisite high tea experience at The Langham Hotel that truly lives up to its reputation for timeless luxury. From the moment we were seated, the atmosphere felt refined yet relaxed. Soft lighting, plush surroundings, and impeccable attention to detail. The tea selection was thoughtfully curated, with beautifully brewed blends served at the perfect temperature. The tiered stand was a visual delight: delicate finger sandwiches with balanced flavours, warm freshly baked scones accompanied by rich clotted cream and house-made preserves, and an array of exquisitely crafted pastries that were as elegant as they were indulgent. Service was polished and attentive without ever feeling intrusive, making the entire experience feel seamless and unhurried. Every element from presentation to taste reflected the Langham’s signature sophistication. A perfect destination for a special occasion or a leisurely afternoon of indulgence. Classic, graceful, and undeniably luxurious.

A friend and I recently enjoyed a three-night stay at The Langham, Sydney. From the moment you enter the hotel, there is an immediate sense of calm elegance. The hotel’s signature scent drifting through the lobby, combined with the ever-changing selection of flower arrangements in the foyer, creates a refined and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, offering both comfort and quiet luxury. The only negative point I could add regarding the room was that some of the furnishings showed damage in places so perhaps some repairs are required or some pieces require updating. I particularly appreciated the boutique scale of The Langham. Unlike larger, more impersonal five-star properties, it possesses a true boutique sensibility. The Observatory Bar is discreet and beautifully designed, while the dining rooms are elegant and inviting — creating a sense of privacy and refinement rather than spectacle. The entire experience felt curated rather than commercial. What truly distinguishes The Langham, however, is the calibre of its service. The doormen — Louis and Jose in particular — were genuinely impressive. Their hospitality never felt forced or artificial; it was warm, natural and highly professional. They were simply excellent at their roles. Their professionalism was seamless and intuitive — gracious without ever feeling performative. Tolga, the restaurant manager, was equally impressive — attentive, composed and clearly committed to maintaining a sophisticated standard of service. Ott and Michael saw us off with the same professionalism and genuine warmth that elevated the entire stay. Throughout our visit, the service was seamless and thoughtful. In a city with many luxury options, it is this calibre of authentic, refined hospitality — combined with its boutique intimacy — that truly distinguishes The Langham.
