MANAGER IS USELESS! Full of excuses Absolutely incompetent staff! Friendly smiles with zero answers! Location is amazing! You are in the heart of it all! Great restaurants, bar scene is awesome, views of the river and super convenient! The Staff has an excuse for everything, the answer from everyone is “I don’t know” As a Diamond Hilton member I was told I could get late checkout. I got a call that morning I had to be out at regular check out. The hotel was empty! 2. The balcony rooms are simply a window that has been converted into a door, so watch your head. Also it’s better to just go to the rooftop for the views. As the balcony is extremely awkward and the rooms are small. But if you must have the balcony room stay on the 3rd floor. They have better balconies there. 3. I was charged for Valet parking, even though they never parked a car for me. My car was not even parked at their valet area, their Valet could not drive stick, nor could he fit in my car. I drove it and parked off site! Yet was charged for Valet at $45/day. There are many parking garages you can park at for less and walk one block to the hotel. 4. I have a food and beverage credit/day yet it was never applied. Upon checkout i asked about it the reception stated “I don’t know how to do that”. Called in again to speak to the manager “his system is down” THIS STAFF IS TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!! Hotel great location, rooms small, but comfortable! Management is horrible!! They had a woman at reception that kept saying she does not work there they called her to come sit in for the night. This is a popular destination, I expect better service from a Tapestry hotel by Hilton. The Bohemian is next door, by Marriott and a totally different experience well worth the lil extra! Also several other Hilton options 1street over, save the money, save the drama and consider those hotels atleast you set your expectations properly
