Smallholding Vauhariot in Cancale, open June–October.
Smallholding Vauhariot is a restored 18th-century farmstead in Cancale that has been carefully converted into a hotel and events venue while preserving its original stone architecture and rural character.
Originally built as a working agricultural property, the metairie has been thoughtfully modernized to welcome destination weddings without compromising its authentic Breton heritage.
Set within the picturesque Côte d'Émeraude region, the venue offers 66 guest rooms across its historic buildings.
I stayed with my gf at La Tour, one of their room (which is a tower on 2 levels, way better than a room) and it was great! Beautiful place, with everything we needed and beyond. The swimming pool is clean and open from super early to late in the eve. And the sun deck is perfect for having breakfast (and to do rabbit watching 😅) Our host was helpful and did her best to make our stay comfortable. There are also some great restaurant at walking distance. I'll be happy to come again if I go back in this area!
