We just returned from our second visit to Silent Waters. We first found Silent Waters in 2024 when we were looking for a place to celebrate our 40th birthdays. We loved our vacation there so much we had to come back. Silent Waters is set up perfectly for a vacation for a group of adult couples. With 6 separate villas, if you have 6 or fewer couples each couple gets there very own villa which gives great privacy. Each villa has one bathroom and at least one bedroom. Each villa is unique and great in their own way, from the outdoor showers, to the bathtubs, and to the views of the mountains and ocean. While each of the villas are great, the general hang out area is fabulous with sofas and game tables. This area is right by the pool/bar area. There is also a great area by the pool for sunning looking out towards the ocean. The set up for meals with the large table so everyone in our group could sit together is great (I think the table seats up to 12, plus another table by the pool is you needed more room). The dining room is set up with one side of the table looking out over the pool towards the ocean and the other side looking into the tropical setting with all the plants and greenery and mountains. The food served is excellent. Chef Marlon was there on our first visit and we were all excited to hear he was still there on our second visit. The breakfast is over the top with each person able to order anything they wanted of eggs/omelette/french toast/pancakes/sausage/bacon, etc. This is served with delicious muffins, toast, and fruit. Every lunch and dinner was delicious. One of my favorites is a fish dish in a coconut sauce. We also loved the lobster tail and the steak. I don't think you can go wrong with Chef Marlon cooking. Along with the food, the cocktails are excellent. With David, the bartender, serving us cocktails while we floated around the pool, it doesn't get much better than that. I highly recommend the espresso martinis and the pina coladas. Another great feature of the property that we took full advantage of is the tennis court/pickleball court at the top of the property. Set up at the top of the property, you have an amazing view of the mountains and ocean while playing. I've played on lots of tennis courts, but I think that this might be the best view from any court I've played on. The court is in great shape and painted with lines for tennis and pickleball. A new addition on this trip was a basketball goal on one end of the tennis court and we played a lot of fun games of knockout. Speaking of games, I asked if there was a mahjong set at Silent Waters and they ordered one for us to get there in time for our visit - so bring your card and have fun with it! We played many games of mahjong. This is a great example of how they go above and beyond to make your vacation great. The guys in our group played golf at Tryall and reported it was a great time. We almost all got massages one day, and I highly recommend. They set up the tables in the master villa and with the waterfall running right outside and a little breeze coming through the door and a view of the ocean - perfect! You really can't get a better vacation home than Silent Waters. It feels like it's your own private villa. I can't wait to come back again soon! One quick note before I end this. We visited at the end of January 2026. We had been worried if Silent Waters would be ready for our visit back after the hard hit from the hurricane in Oct 2025. Rest assured it is completely back together and just as good as it was before the hurricane, if not better.
