Relais & Spa Castello diCasiglio

I stayed for one night in September in one of their classic rooms in Villa Elena. We paid more than 300 euros per night to discover that the only window of the room is a roof window with very little natural light. The shower smelled very moldy after we turned it on and A/C did not work - despite calling 4-5 times and waiting "in line" on the phone, we did not manage to reach reception from the hotel phone. The A/C was then turned on from the reception when we stopped by - apparently their system blocked it. We wanted to eat dinner outside - it was a lovely late summer night but we were told the outdoor is closed. Same for breakfast next morning; despite many people spending time outside already they did not feel like setting up the area for breakfast (it was later open for lunch). The big upside is the spa area, very modern and lovely staff. We also appreciated the food at the restaurant. Would recommend it for the spa, but better come here with a day pass.
