My husband took me to Segrata (and Sardinia) for my birthday — it was phenomenal. I had read some of the negative reviews people had made before we left and was slightly worried, but these reviews are inaccurate. We had a luxury experience from the first moment we arrived and every other moment we were there. The views from every vantage point were amazing; the colours from the sunrises and sunsets were stunning. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the buildings and facilities were stylish and the general atmosphere was peaceful —a little slice of paradise. We ate at the Michelin star restaurant, and really enjoyed the food and wine. I chose to have the signature pasta with prawns and botarga as part of my tasting menu, which was pure heaven on a plate. The breakfast was also delicious and the tasting menus for it are a real treat. We so thoroughly enjoyed the experience, by day 2 we were already planning a return trip. Grazie and baci! We will be back!
