We were immediately drawn to the castle’s beauty, history, and size. We did not have a huge wedding, but we knew we wanted to create a memorable experience filled with unique and fun moments. What truly became the deciding factor for us was Derek and the astrology room. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to trust the people you are working with at your venue. We had a vision, and our wedding planner, Derek, and the entire team at Mt. Woodson brought it to life in a way that my husband and I will never forget, and neither will our guests. They allowed us full access to roam the unique and historic grounds, and so many of the things we envisioned were made possible. Even when a few changes had to be made along the way, the end result was absolutely amazing. The food was wonderful, the flow of the evening was seamless, and by the end of the night, all of our belongings were packed up and ready for us to take home. Thank you to Derek and every single person at Mt. Woodson who helped make our wedding such a memorable and beautiful experience. P.S. If you're someone who loves aesthetics and incredible photo opportunities, this place is absolutely insane. Everywhere you turn feels like a backdrop for a magazine shoot, and our photographer had no shortage of stunning locations to work with.
