Perfect location on boardwalk and waterfront! We stayed a week in a 2 bedroom during winter holidays and then came back again in February, also in a 2 bedroom. Friendly staff, especially the front desk! It's a well planned resort, with many apartments having a sea view from the balcony and/or windows. Similar to the sister property at Dona Lola, the apartments vary in quality depending on whether you are staying in a renovated apartment or not, and depending on location. All are well kept though, but they've been here since the 70's or so. Typical in Costa del Sol, especially on the water front. Even in winter, the grounds are very beautiful and well kept. A storm came through and they were cleaning everything up the next day! Situated on a hill side the property has a restaurant/snack shop at the top. With waterfalls, ponds and such coming down towards the ocean. Stunning! All the units are walk ups, mostly on the first or second floor. The first floor units have a few stairs, but may be manageable for someone with mobility issues. Second floor units had about 12 stairs or so, depending on location. Great internet, satellite TV, with English UK channels and lots of international channels. The kitchens are fully equipped. A good sized refrigerator, 4-burner stovetop, oven. Also a washer for clothes and a dishwasher. Easy walk to groceries and more on the other side of the highway via a pedestrian overpass. If you are driving, the turn off from the highway is a bit tricky, especially in traffic. Slow down, put your signal on early, and watch out for people and cars right at the entrance. The location on the beach and boardwalk is what really makes this property special! Luna Beach restaurant is right next door on the water, and about 2500 steps away down the boardwalk is Puerto de Cabopino with many restaurants (about 8 or so in high season, 2-3 open in low season). If you keep walking past the port you'll reach Dunas de Artola - such a beautiful place to walk. Definitely worth it!
