Great place to stay when visiting the Lake of the Ozarks. We booked a room with two queen beds and the dude at the reception was nice enough to give us a great, lake-facing room with a balcony. The bathroom was small but clean. The resort has a lot of different types of swimming pools. There was one right outside our room which was 6 feet deep, another one was 4 feet deep (cloverleaf pool) and then an indoor-outdoor pool which went up to 8 feet with a large hot tub too. I enjoyed all of these. There is also an outdoor bar near the pools and the entire resort is beautiful. The hotel has a decent breakfast cafe (Breezes). The breakfast buffet menu was limited but okay for the price ($16). We did not end up trying the other restaurant (HK’s), but that was also decent (based on other guest reviews). The people at the reception are really nice and helpful and can guide you if it’s your first time there. Overall, it is a nice budget-friendly option if you are a group of friends looking to spend the weekend in the Lake of the Ozarks.
