There are 30 thatched one-bedroom bungalow suites under the palms, no televisions and no telephones in the rooms, and nobody under sixteen anywhere on the island.
Ceremonies happen on the sand at Sandy Point, a white spit at the western end where the sun goes down, or on the sunset dock.
The resort hosts one wedding a day and everyone attending has to be staying, which sets the shape of the whole thing: an intimate gathering runs to about 30 guests, and the full island buyout takes 60.

How many guests can Little Palm Island host?+
Up to 60 with a full island buyout, and about 30 for a gathering that shares the island with other guests. Everyone attending the wedding has to be a resort guest, and there are 30 suites, which is the real limit.
What does an island buyout cost?+
Reported figures put the Exclusively Yours full island buyout from around $250,000 to $295,000 for two to three nights. The resort quotes after enquiry, and the buyout covers the island rather than a room block within it.
How do guests reach the island?+
By the resort launch from the shoreside dock on Little Torch Key at mile marker 28.5, a crossing of about fifteen minutes, or by seaplane. There is no road, no bridge and no way to arrive under your own steam.
Can children come to the wedding?+
No. Little Palm Island takes no guests under the age of sixteen, wedding parties included. If children are in your guest list this is not the venue, and there is no arrangement to ask for.
Which airport do guests fly into?+
Key West International is about 45 minutes east by road along the Overseas Highway. Miami International is roughly three hours and is where most international guests land before driving down through the Keys.
When should we avoid the Florida Keys?+
The Atlantic hurricane season runs June to November and peaks in September. The island was rebuilt after Hurricane Irma in 2017 and reopened in 2020. February to May is settled, dry and the busiest and most expensive stretch of the year.
