Lajitas Golf Resort is one of those places that makes you stop and appreciate just how incredible Texas is. The views are unreal, the entire property has that rugged West Texas charm, and it's the perfect home base for exploring Big Bend. Even if you're not a golfer, it's worth visiting just to see the course—it's absolutely stunning. The resort itself is peaceful, the staff was friendly, and everything felt relaxed without losing that upscale feel. The food was the biggest surprise for me. Every meal we had was outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best food we had on the trip. I wasn't expecting resort dining to be that good, but they absolutely nailed it. If you're heading to Big Bend or just looking for a unique Texas getaway, I'd recommend putting Lajitas on your list. I would definitely stay here again.
