La Casa di Papi in Lazise, open April–August.
Guests arrive at La Casa di Papi to discover a centuries-old Venetian estate overlooking Lake Garda, where stone archways and cypress-lined grounds set the stage before they step into manicured gardens and restored villa spaces.
From the moment of arrival through the final toast, the property's authentic Italian architecture and lakeside views create the sensory backdrop that guests will reference in conversations for years.
The estate accommodates intimate gatherings and larger celebrations across multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, each with distinct character.
The location is very pretty, well-maintained, and has a decent amount of parking. The property also features a decent-sized swimming pool (not usable, at least not at the event I attended). The grounds are spacious and discreetly lit at night, creating a romantic atmosphere for visitors. The dining room, set in a semi-open space for easy access and ventilation on hot days (it's not air-conditioned), features large round tables decorated with floral arrangements. The fresh fish and meat buffets and the menu offer sophisticated dishes. The only slight disappointment is the management's inflexibility during events, but that's just my personal opinion. Overall, I'd give it a very positive rating.
