The hotel has a lovely view. The breakfast was good and the restaurant staff were very nice and polite but overall the hotel is nowhere near 5* quality. - We booked this hotel specifically to use the indoor pool, only to be told at check-in that you need to reserve a time slot and that there was no availability for the second day of our stay. For a supposed 5-star hotel, that’s unacceptable. Also, even though there’s a separate kids’ pool, the main pool was completely full of babies and children so don't expect it to be a relaxing experience. - The entire hotel is extremely noisy, with kids running and shouting everywhere. There was even someone playing piano in the evening and I felt so bad for him because no one could hear a thing over the kids screaming. I understand it’s a family-focused property, but if you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is definitely not the right place. - The room itself is quite basic (it would be nice to have a kettle and tea in the room) and it was freezing when we arrived! We were hoping for a relaxing getaway near Sintra but overall the experience was quite disappointing. Families looking for a fun holiday with children might have a nicer experience.
