First visit to the Savoy Palace, and was disappointed at first as dropped on busy road beside large plain wall, but it only lasted a few minutes. Around the corner was a beautiful, cool and friendly reception. The staff were excellent, the rooms large and clean with excellent view of the lake. The food is very good with wide range of options and beautiful terrace. There is a roof terrace bar, very quiet, and the all important pool was great with ample sunbeds. The location is perfect, only a short stroll to the ferry and ample shops nearby. All in all, a really good hotel which I plan to revisit.
