If you have the budget this is THE place to stay in Malaga - very much 5 star! Great location, right on the beachfront and just 15-20 mins walk into the old town. Means it is easy to go for early morning runs/bike rides and also to walk home after a meal at night. (Yes, you have to cross the main road between the hotel and beach, as another review was complaining about, but it's really not that inconvenient) Excellent, friendly service from every single member of staff in every part of the hotel, especially the numerous concierge team members who were keen to help with advice of trips, restuarants or anything else. Great, luxurious facilities including gym, spa, pool (pretty chilly in February!) and lovely rooftop bar watching the sunset with evening cocktails. Plus bikes, both normal and e-bikes, can be rented for 4 hours or all-day (2-3 hours along the seafront/coast road is a great trip.) Bedrooms were modern, spacious and super clean with well-lit bathroom and excellent shower (maybe just a couple of mirrors in the bedroom would be a good idea). We booked via Amex Fine Hotels so also got the Amex benefits which are certainly a valuable bonus too. Highly recommended.
