What made it famous is the cascade of suspended pools, Les Cascades Suspendues, stepped down the cliff face with nothing between them and the water, and the fact that the whole property faces due west into the sunset.

The last stretch is a narrow, winding descent from Sant Miquel de Balansat to Na Xamena. Cars are fine, larger coaches need checking with the hotel first, and taxis back to Ibiza town late at night have to be booked ahead.

Ibiza (IBZ), about 45 minutes away by road on the far south of the island. There are no other options on Ibiza; guests connecting through Palma or Barcelona should allow for the ferry timetable if they miss a flight.
