My husband and I went for our honeymoon and it was perfect for the relaxation we needed. The highlight for us was the food. I don't think I have tried better food anywhere. No matter what we ordered, it came fresh and hot and was absolutely delicious. Many great options to select from. The service was outstanding. Everyone is so attentive. Roisser and Yamir were specifically amazing. I will miss them! The beds were so comfortable, the rooms were cold, the bath was relaxing, and they give nice toiletries as well. Everything is well kept and the workers are like busy bees and constantly on top of everything. The activities they do at the pool are fun as well. The bars are fully stocked and you can create any drink that you can possibly think of. The beach was completely inaccessible due to the sargassum, but that is no fault to the resort as they use the tractor to clean it up as much as possible. Note that not all of the rooms have smart TVs as we were placed in a room with one and then moved to one without one. That was kind of annoying but I know if I were to have asked them, they would've accommodated us. The floor in the lobby is extremely slippery. The umbrellas do have to be put down often due to the wind, and you do need a reservation for the lounge chairs and we weren't told that until we sat down. It is so nice that they have a worker that brings food and drinks to you at your chair. I loved that so much. You have to make a reservation for dinner every night if you plan to eat dinner. It was so empty when we were there so the reservations were loose. The water is also drinkable and fresh. They left us a dessert for our honeymoon which is so kind and it was delicious. The room service is just as delicious as if you ordered it at the restaurant, and doesn't take too long. I enjoyed that you are able to press the privacy button or "make up room" button. They also give you bug spray to help with mosquitoes. Their gourmet food market is stocked with great stuff too. I enjoyed the gym and it has a decent amount of great equipment. I spoke with our concierge Tristan who was assigned to us, but we saw him twice throughout the trip and worked with different people other times. I told him we wanted to go an excursion and I wanted to go to cenotes and swim and he suggested Xcaret, which was awesome but wasn't what I was looking for because there is only one underground river which is long but not the "cenote" I had imagined. I have experienced cenotes previously in Mexico, and it was magical. Oh also, there is absolutely no night life and everyone is in bed by 8 pm, which I would have been disappointed by had I come with more people. One of the best resort experiences I have ever had and we will definitely be returning.
