Grand Hotel Son Net in Illes Balears, open June–September.
Built in 1750 as a fortified manor house, Grand Hotel Son Net stands as a restored 18th-century Majorcan estate overlooking the Puigpunyent valley.
The property underwent meticulous renovation to preserve its stone architecture and period features while introducing modern hospitality amenities.
Today it functions as an exclusive hotel and wedding venue, maintaining the grandeur of its aristocratic origins.
Our honeymoon at Grand Hotel Son Net was nothing short of incredible. Even with cloudy and rainy weather during our stay, the experience was absolutely unforgettable and exceeded every expectation we had. We were generously upgraded to a beautiful room, which made our honeymoon feel even more special. Every detail throughout the property reflected warmth, luxury, and thoughtful hospitality. The food and cocktails on site were phenomenal. The spa services were equally exceptional. One of the highlights of our trip was booking a private Yin yoga session. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. Laura greeted us every morning at breakfast with such warmth and kindness that it immediately brightened our day. Aaron gave us incredible local wine recommendations and even shared suggestions for our next honeymoon destination in Ibiza, which we loved. And Christian at the front desk went above and beyond in every possible way. He checked in on us multiple times throughout our stay to ensure everything was perfect, and after overhearing me mention how much I loved the olive oil, he surprised us by gifting some for our travels home — such a thoughtful gesture that we’ll never forget. This was one of the most memorable and meaningful travel experiences we’ve ever had, and we already cannot wait to return.
